CMA Chittaranjan Chattopadhyay has been elected as President of the Institute for the period 2026-2027.

CMA Chittaranjan Chattopadhyay is a Fellow Member of ICMAI, a Certificated Associate Member of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) and holds an LL.B. degree. He also possesses the CPFA qualification from the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), London, UK. With over 38 years of distinguished experience in the banking sector, CMA Chattopadhyay has served in a Commercial Bank in various capacities, acquiring extensive expertise in banking operations, finance, public financial management, and strategic administration. Throughout his professional career, he has held diverse responsibilities and made significant contributions to the financial services sector through his leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to professional excellence. He served as a Council Member of ICMAI during the term 2019–23 and was re-elected for the term 2023–27. He also served as the Chairman of the Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC) of ICMAI during the Council Year 2004–05.
